E A + (2 x Stroke of the Horizontal Motion) B + (2 x Stroke of the Vertical Motion) D .25 C Transition Plate “EZ” Series Thin Parts Placers The thin parts placer uses a transition plate to join two "EZ" Series slides together to form a narrow profile pick-and-place unit. This option used in conjunction with the MV1 or MV2 mounting styles is ideal for applications where a conventional "EZP" pick-and-place unit will not fit tight space limitations. Listed below are standard model combinations joining two standard "EZ" models together as shown in the dimensional drawing. Other combina- tions can be made. Please call for details. Tooling option "–SB" , the single beam overhead support option, can be used with the thin parts placer to increase stability and load capacity on long stroke applications. "F" Centerline Offset ( – Negative offset shown here) Some slide combinations have an offset below centerline as shown here.These are listed as negative numbers in the chart below. 38/25 EZ375 EZ250 8.38 3.00 4.12 1.12 .25 .00 Plate No. A B C D E F 50/25 EZ500 EZ250 10.00 3.00 4.50 1.12 .25 –.13 50/38 EZ500 EZ375 9.90 4.50 4.28 .78 .25 .13 62/25 EZ625 EZ250 10.00 3.00 4.50 1.12 .25 –.13 62/38 EZ625 EZ375 9.90 4.50 4.28 .78 .38 .13 62/50 EZ625 EZ500 11.21 6.12 5.09 1.09 .38 .25 75/38 EZ750 EZ375 12.28 4.50 5.16 .78 .50 –.13 75/50 EZ750 EZ500 13.59 6.12 5.96 1.09 .50 .00 75/62 EZ750 EZ625 14.21 6.12 6.21 .97 .50 .00 100/50 EZ1000 EZ500 16.78 6.12 6.84 1.09 .50 –.25 100/62 EZ1000 EZ625 17.41 6.12 7.09 .97 .50 –.25 100/75 EZ1000 EZ750 18.85 8.50 7.71 .78 .75 .25 Horizontal Motion Slide Vertical Motion Slide Transition Plates, Model Designations and Dimensions 150/75 EZ1500 EZ750 22.41 8.50 8.71 .78 .75 .00 How to Order: Drawing and chart show transition plates used to join "EZ" Series slides to form a Thin Parts Placer. Order by designating the Plate Number for the combination desired, followed by a dash (–) and stroke length of the vertical motion slide. Plate ordering example: TPL 38 / 25 – 4.0 Horiz.
