The clamp-off position of the 4-way pneumatic control releases the clamp cylinders and simultaneously opens the pilot-operated check valve allowing oil to flow back into the tank. Booster Becomes a Pump Adding a magnet piston enables position sensing. Electronic sensors can then control a 4-way solenoid valve causing the booster pistons to reciprocate and pump high pressure liquid.
